Abstract Engineering

Drowning amidst equations like a lost knight,
Counting stars in broad daylight,
Tuning our minds to an unknown frequency,
Want to break free, we want to feel valency.

Every brain is an auditorium,
Where amnesia and insomnia freelance,
Hoping to break free from this pandemonium,
Can't see Einstein perform the devil's dance.

Feeling dyslexic every time we write,
As we jumble the greek alphabet,
Diagnosed with examination fright,
We feel we're better off writing a sonnet.

The artists in us always rebel,
So that we can use our right brains,
And still we are the envy of many people,
Who cannot see us trapped in these chains.
